You can't target a specific age group/gender unless they want to be targeted. Plus, mom and dad have control over their pre teens buying power when it comes to merchandise and concert tickets, right, so don't blame Beyonce for the preteens who adore her. Blame the parents who have no issues with it if you feel you need to blame someone.
I notice no male entertainers are being spoken of. Is half naked the only kind of bad influence entertainers have on kids?
Take it up with Ms. Greer. No doubt you are unaware of the trend to target preteens with adult clothing and makeup.

I have already created a thread about that!
And?
I am not unaware of it but, as I said, you can't be targeted unless you want to be. Barbie is targeted for every little girl ever but I raised my two without ever buying them a Barbie because I don't particularly care for Barbie and all the bs associated with her. They survived their childhood Barbieless.
It can be done if parents want to do it.
Or, maybe he/she is in the business of profiting from marketing to kids? There's nothing inherently wrong with it, Tom.
And it is plagiarism if you knew about it, or doziness if you didn't.
I beg to differ.
Germaine Greer is attacking Beyoncé for her performance wardrobe, criticisizing her for showing her breasts too much.
