BTW my oldest daughter decided recently to change jobs. She updated her resume and posted it, and said that her email inbox immediately exploded with offers for interviews. She's had two already with the same potential employer, and has #3 scheduled for tomorrow. It is PT, which she wants, but offers full benefits and a better salary than what she's been making. It's a good time to find a new position.

If after all this time Trump was continuing to horde classified material at his Florida resort, the time for negotiating it's return to the government was over.

It shouldn't have even been a matter of negotiation. It's not a hostage situation.

No, it's not. The fact that the search was unannounced tells us that there were concerns that evidence might have been destroyed had they first attempted to go thru the sleazebag's attorneys. BTW, one of his attorneys was present during the search, per NBC news last night.

I see one of the KrazyKuntKlub members was agonizing over certain people posting over the weekend. I guess when you're old but still have to work, there's a certain amount of bitter envy towards those of us who can enjoy every day of the week, not just Sat. and Sunday. :laugh:

There weren't "documents". the "hubbub" was over whether or not government business be conducted on her personal email server. Spoiler alert: It should not it was stupid. But you know who else is stupid? Almost all gov't employees who do the same thing - Colin Powell had, like, a "yahoo" address he used.

She should not have done it, but she did it for convenience not for nefarious purposes, like the MAGA idiot hand-wringers claim. She wasn't dishing secrets to our enemies like twump does.

Yep. I suspect that he kept it for a couple of reasons. 1. Rules and laws do not apply to him. 2. He planned to use them, perhaps to trade for favors with domestic or foreign interests. 3. There is incriminating information in them.

THis is why HRC was not prosecuted, she did not remove documents, some copies of documents were sent to her email, but she did not do it and documents were not moved. THey pretend not to understand that.
