Diversity Makes Greatness
here is what wealth gives you in the only industrialized country that does not have universal care. https://www.alternet.org/personal-h...-earns-you-15-extra-years-life-span-over-poor You get 15 years and get to watch the poor die.
Wow.
So our wealth inequality is a big reason why the average lifespan of Americans is lower than Europe. If more Americans could afford 'the greatest health care in the world' they would live longer.
Also, very interesting stuff in that article about how the Republican health care plan failed.
Republicans are like the dog that chased the firetruck and then caught it. After so many years of claiming they could fix health care, when they finally got the chance they couldn't do it.
That's why all this American polarization is hurting us so badly.
It is now clear the only way to make health care more effective and affordable is for Republicans and Democrats to unite in representation of We, The People, against the health care industry.
Hey. Are our representatives representing us or not? Or are they working for the big money campaign donors. If we all got out and voted, they would listen to us. That money they get? All they do with that is try to buy votes. If we overwhelm them with our votes, that money becomes worthless to them.
Looks like Americans just need to get off our apathy and get involved.
That campaign money works against that. All the negative advertising turns people off to politics so they don't want to get involved. The money makes people do what they should not do so the wealth extractors can get more money out of them.
It's all about the money and greed.
