Again, incorrect. It is not an active belief in anything. It is merely the same feeling you have about the existence of the Blorgmaflump. You simply fail to believe in it.

That is not an active DISBELIEF in something.

I will agree there is a sub-set of atheists called "Explicit Atheists" who take it one step further and actively state "There is no God" but that's logically impossible to prove so it is easy enough to dismiss it as a less-than-accurate depiction of atheism qua atheism.

You are being fatuous. You cannot divorce yourself from "Explicit Atheism". Yes, it is unable to be proved, so you just skip the logic of that. Stop the hypocrisy.

Believe or don't believe what you want (I am all for your right to do that), but don't ignore that it is an act of faith on your parts because it is logically impossible to prove that God does not exist. It's honest.

That is a really low reaction score for somebody who has been posting for a while.

The main belief system of atheism is the belief that nothing exists but matter and energy, in other words physical materialism.

They can't deny this is their belief system. If there *is* any higher transcendent reality beyond matter and energy, that is treading the ground of spirituality, pantheism, and religion.

It's typical of low IQ, poorly educated and/or angry people.

We all have bad days, but a person who is perpetually angry and hateful is proving they are not happy campers. What interests me is why they are not happy.

Reasons vary but usually involve relationships or finances. Is there any doubt that Perry or any other very unhappy people on JPP are not in a loving, caring relationship with a million dollar bank account and just enjoying the fruits of life?

They are angry and/or hateful for a reason.

There are two major types of atheism: implicit and explicit. I am an implicit atheist which simply LACKS A BELIEF in the claim you make that God exists.

It is not actively disbelief, it is a LACK of belief.
