Good news about deficit

you said there is a danger of a double dip...obviously trends lead people to believe that we are possibly headed for a double dip

how embarrassing you don't even have a clue what you're talking about, so i decided to be nice and help you with some google....

http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source...=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=467c3568f2eec009

Wow! That is really pathetic. I'll say it again; your reading comprehension sucks.

A lingering danger of a double dip is NOT a "trend" for a double dip, and that's not at all what I was saying.

What a waste of time.

unfortunately, you're wrong onceler. and if you clicked the link i gave you, you would see that. it is inherent that there are trends for the double dip, ou see the dangers because of trends, if you don't, then you're not paying attention and like i said, you don't know what you're talking about...

and you're changing what you said....you didn't say "lingering"....you said there is still a danger...that points to a trend or trends onceler

The link you posted? You mean a biased google search that has a couple of dubious links indicating "double dip"? I think the 2nd or 3rd link is from well over a month ago.

The current trend is NOT for a double dip. Do an objective search, and you'll find plenty more to indicate that, and plenty of economists who think that. Again, a lingering danger is NOT a trend.

But that's all besides the point, which is that you were trying to say that I was claiming there was a trend for a double-dip.

Seriously...how many times can you be embarassed in a day? Try reading & actually thinking before you post.

"you said there is still a danger...that points to a trend or trends onceler "

No, it doesn't. Simply put, that's not even an intelligent thing to say or conclude about a statement like that.

I can tell we're heading into stubborn Yurt territory - you know you're wrong, and this thread is about to turn into another bizarro world while you think of ever more creative ways to deflect from that.

whatever onceler, many of those links are a few weeks old and include forbes and mish's (which is fairly decent) trend analysis

but all you are going to offer now is how i am wrong, stubborn, don't have reading comprehension etc....nothing of any substance, just insults....its really getting tiring when you turn to dishonesty lately in order to 'win' your arguments...

Like I said, even if that's correct, it's beside the point. You tried (multiple times now), to assert that I was saying that the trend was toward a double dip, simply because I said there is still a danger of a double dip. It's ludicrous to suggest that. Trends are never definitive & guaranteed; there are generally always dangers that alternate outcomes might result with unforeseen circumstances.

It's hardly surprising that you are continuing to dodge that. However, even the links you refer to are older; the news over the past 2-3 weeks has been excellent. The trends, in my opinion, which plenty of economist agree with, are very solid that we will avoid a double-dip; and again, if you'd do an honest search and some honest research, you'd see that (not just a quick one-off biased search, that you seem to think proves anything).

Don't call me dishonest. It's weird. Your posts are nothing but lies & distortions; you do nothing but troll the board, trying to twist words.

i have no idea what has gotten into you lately. you're so bitter and angry. all you do project onceler. you are in fact dishonest and were in fact dishonest about my links, but do you admit that, no, you go off on me instead.... though you can't find a single thing i've been dishonest about. then you throw out the troll...twist words etc....its all you have anymore.

i stand by what i said in this thread. enjoy your bitterness, its quite boring.

"i stand by what i said in this thread."

And that, really, is the issue.

I'm not bitter. No one likes having their words twisted all the time.

so you don't stand by what you said in thsi thread??

Thanks for so quickly proving my point - yet again - about twisting the words of others (not that it really needed much more proof; seriously - it is basically all you do).

You need to re-visit your definition of 'troll.' You merely disagree with Cypress, albeit in a very violent, unsustainable way.

LMAO.... sure... what is it with you lefties always trying to associate violence with what those on the right have to say?

Cypress is ALL Strawman ALL the time. You just don't like Yurt because you violently disagree with him. In an unsustainable way.

i asked you if you don't...i put two question marks at the end of my sentence and included a big blue question mark smilie at the top of the post. so, its actually you who has reading comprehension issues or you're being purposefully dishonest by twisted my words...

now. answer the question. do you or do you not, stand by what you said in this thread? your comment to me indicated quite clearly you believe me standing by what i said is an issue, and the way you said it, it appeared you believe it to be a negative issue. stop being dishonest and twisting my words by claiming i twisted your words, i asked you a question about your words to get clarification. i never claimed you said anything.

whats truly sad, is that you proved my point about you projecting, you're the one that twisted my words or has reading comprehension problems here onceler.

Yep, I stand by what I have said. I have no reason not to.

You, on the other hand, have been shown repeatedly - and not just by me - that you misinterpreted my post. And you have chosen to still stand by that misinterpretation, progressively digging the hole deeper as the thread has progressed.

Get it?

and once again, you show your hypocrisy....its ok for you stand by your words, but not someone else...

i have no reason to not stand by words onceler, you're being intellectually dishonest by claiming it is a negative issue for me and not for you, because all it is that we disagree. so of course, we woudl both stand by what we said.

and i notice you did not admit your projection and that you in fact twisted my words when it was clear as day i was asking a question. so which one was it....dishonesty or reading comprehension?

You can't be this dumb.

You shouldn't stand by your words because YOU WERE WRONG. I was NOT saying that the trend is toward a double-dip. We do not merely "disagree." You were just flat-out wrong.

And it's easy to say, "oh - sorry; misread what you were saying." That's not a hard thing to do; it's easier then all of the hoops you have made yourself jump through to try to defend an untenable position.

i was not wrong, if i was, i would readily admit it as i always do when i am wrong. you're just continuing this stupidity because you are a hypocrite and simply can't admit it and you still won't admit you were wrong about claiming i misinterpreted and twisted your post. you rarely, if ever, admit you're wrong, you were blatently wrong here and won't address or admit it....and that you don't see your hypocrisy on standing by what i said, you're more of a hack than i thought.
