A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll of more than 1,750 Hispanics across the country explores their demographics and their political views and their daily lives.

The fast-growing ethnic group has the potential to have far-reaching impact on American politics and culture.

Here's a quick look at what we found.

  • The president leads Romney 66%-25% among more than 1,000 Latino registered voters surveyed April 16 to May 31, matching his muscular showing in the 2008 election among Hispanics.

  • Romney is in the weakest position among Latinos of any presidential contender since 1996 — and in those intervening 16 years their percentage of the electorate has doubled.

That might be, but since Obama has fucked up the country, all those white voters that voted for him in 2008 are switching back to the white guy.
