Again... the fact that they died many hours later shows that forces could have arrived in time to assist them, to strengthen their position and potentially deter the second attack on the safe house. Saying extra help could have increased casualties is pathetic. Why not just send one guy into Afghanistan, because more forces would just increase the potential for casualties... do you even think before you post such stupidity?

I have read the transcripts, I have posted the transcripts, they say exactly what I stated they said. They continually proclaim it was the video while at the same time saying they are investigating to find out what happened. Do I need to repost this 1000 more times before you comprehend it?

you do realize that in the questions the reporters are trying to get them to clarify their position? That Carney kept coming back to the video so many times that they had to ask him over and over again if that is what he thought caused it?

Had he said 'we are not certain of the cause of the attack and will let you know when we have more details' and left it at that, there would not have been the confusion. Instead he and others in the Admin continued claiming that the video/spontaneous protests were the reason, while AT THE SAME TIME proclaiming that the investigation was ongoing into the cause.
