If Johnson had done what Trump wanted back in 2021 I have no doubt with the expected national reaction he would have declared Martial Law and maintained power. I can see something similar happening, and as they have shown us, the GOP Congress will concur, bitch but concur, and the SCOTUS, who gave Trump immunity, will do nothing

Whatever "power" Trump has is Constitutional power. He has no chance of maintaining it if the elections are canceled. None. Even he knows his personal magnetism won't cut it.
