Gotta Love the response to a 'Flat Earth Society' post, ever

really? You push religion and make that claim. Does religion offer you a menu? Can you choose what to believe if you are really "immersed in faith".

sometimes I am amazed at just how stupid you can be........not only is it possible to be a Christian and not believe in a young earth, but its true of 95% of Christians.....just how irrational can you be and still pretend to be a rationalist?......

Nope, that is what you pretend while your posts make it clear you are not. I don't have to make claims for myself. My posts show the differences between us. You are at or near the bottom.

Changed post = domer win. Every time.

Tell us about that boat with two of all those animals. :rofl2:
Tell us about a virgin birth. :rofl2:
Tell us about a man in the belly of a big fish. :rofl2:

Some of the things in the Bible are really interpreted poorly. If there was a Noah's ark, it wasn't a worldwide flood, and two of every animal in the world. It likely speaks of a flood in the Middle East somewhere. You have to question a lot of things chosen to be put in the Bible. Most Bible stories are simply stories of morals for overcoming life's demons. When you realize the moral, you may realize the benefit of the story, even if it isn't as glorified, or seemingly a tall tale version of reality.

Christians as a whole don't believe that young Earth stuff, that's nutty creationists. Be mindful that many of them are in the forefront, of a lot of political BS.

Religion is where the 6000 yr old earth arose. It was a Bishop Ussher who worked backward from the bible and assigned dates to the bible stories. Then he created a timeline that ended 6000 yrs ago. Of course Christians bought in. Not all, but the majority did . Much of the church hierarchy proclaimed it. Ussher died in 1656 and the church did not grow from that time on. It is still a Christian belief.
Not all Christians are that stupid. However, they buy a lot that is just as spurious. You have to be religious.

Of course they are. Most of us understand that.

Not the Thumpers.

Isn't it highly probable that the mention of "the world" only referred to Noah's world, ie: that world that he knew; because how would someone explain space travel to someone of that time, seeing as how it would be impossible for them to grasp.

nothing.......I just don't like people like you......I think those who refuse to see how incredibly stupid they are may possibly vote........and that is a dangerous thing.......

Plenty wrong with you. Besides ignorance, you are proud of dishonesty. Someday you might write a post with substance, but so far, none.
I don''t dislike you, I feel sorry for you.
