Gov. Hochul asked to leave wake for slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller

Right? Now, apparently, we're supposed to believe that they care about cops, and that they're the party of law & order.

They're very transactional w/ their loyalties and principles.
The Left supported the :
1. BLM riots
2. The Defund the police movement
3.Cashless bail.

The Police know the Democrats do not have their backs and the Republicans do.

Kicked out of a wake like a POS. Takes a lot to have that happen. Another skeezer Democrat gets whats coming to her.

It's easy for an uninvited Trump operative to go and shout her down. Typical.

Gov. Kathy Hochul was asked to leave the wake for slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller on Friday afternoon.

Hochul arrived at the Massapequa Funeral Home on Long Island for the second day of viewings around 1:45 p.m.

She was only in the venue for about 10 minutes before she was asked to leave, law enforcement sources told The Post.

A person was heard saying, “Get her outta here” from inside the crowded funeral home, police sources told The Post.

On her way to her car, the governor appeared to be confronted by a man in a black suit, who gestured while speaking intensely.

Several cops waiting outside the funeral home clapped as he walked away.

Hochul and other New York lawmakers have come under fire in the days since Diller’s death over bail reform, as it was revealed that one of the men implicated in the shooting was allowed to walk on a gun charge last spring.

Ahead of the weekend services, Sergeants Benevolent Association president Vincent J. Vallelong wrote a scathing letter warning members of the City Council not to show their faces.

“Their presence is more than a distraction. It is a stain on the legacy of a true hero who made the ultimate sacrifice,” Vallelong argued, adding that the leaders should feel “morally responsible” for the officer’s killing.

From your "NY Post" link

"“It was a brief respectful visit. She was not asked to leave,” the source added of the incident outside."

Yes, but Russia hadn’t invaded Ukraine,
So? I thought that Presidents couldn't "control" (your word) gas prices?

and things were locked down for COVID.
Do you remember that there were three years during Trump's term before things were locked down "for COVID"? Gas prices were likewise very low (typically around $2/gallon here in WI) during those three years... I'm purposely not discussing the bit of time during the "COVID year" in which gas prices dipped all the way down to $1/gallon. I keep an asterisk next to that particular extremely low gas price.

Never once during Trump's term did gas prices ever get higher than roughly $2.70/gal here in WI, let alone ever reach $3/gal, let alone ever reach $4/gal, (and that was for a very brief time period before they went back down again). During Biden's installed term, gas prices here only dipped below $3/gal for a very brief time period (getting as low as roughly $2.70/gal before they went up again). The current gas price here is $3.29/gallon, roughly $0.60/gal higher than it ever got during Trump's term, and roughly $1.20/gal higher than the price was during much of Trump's term.

Biden nor Trump have control over fuel prices.
... however, Biden and Trump (as Chief Puppet and President, respectfully) CAN heavily influence gas prices via their domestic energy policies.

They can try to influence oil prices, but their attempts are sometimes not successful. It’s why we need to move away from fossil fuels.

You mean like Biden's Day 1 EO that led to skyrocketing gas prices?? That one was working brilliantly (over $4/gal gasoline) until it got shot down in the courts.

It’s why we need to move away from fossil fuels.
Who uses fossils for fuel?? My understanding is that fossils don't burn very well. Gasoline, on the other hand, works quite well for fuel.

Jeebus, this is a really stupid post.

Good. She probably just wanted a PR photo op anyway. Denied! OUT WITH YOU......VERMIN!

... And there were no apologies for how she handled things... Which was incredibly insensitive and unacceptable, btw...

Do you want everything (inc. home heating) to be run by electric? What generates the electric? Thousands of little nuke plants all across this country. Whatcha think?
