So your city has no plan, you have no plan, you have no idea what you're talking about, and you're just searching for a way to get the last word in without contributing anything meaningful to the debate.
Forgiving student debt for 15M people, and capping payments for another 35M more
will be an economic stimulus that will create jobs and raise revenue.
The economy gains NOTHING by having people pay student loans, but it does gain quite a bit if instead of paying the loans, those borrowers spend money in the consumer market or buy a house.
Home construction is one of the highest economic multipliers, along with direct government spending;
for every 1 home constructed, there are at least three jobs created.
But you know what has never created a job? Tax cuts. Low taxes. Neither have ever created any jobs...in fact, those low taxes and tax cuts have COST JOBS, like what happened when the Russia Tax Cut that you supported caused manufacturing to lose 300,000 jobs and fall into a recession for all of 2019.
The last two Republican Presidents lost net private sector jobs after their tax cuts.
So at what point do you finally accept that your entire premise is wrong? What is it gonna take for you to accept that? Or will you ever accept it? Will you simply just close your mind off because of the hit your ego will take? I think so. I think you're that petty and desperate.
