Guess Who's Supporting Obamacare Now?

Yup. The insurance companies!
They'd be idiots not too. This is a huge landfall for health insurance companies. They are going to recieve around 30 million new customers. Thats around a trillion dollars or more each year of additional revenue. There's already a huge number of small insurance companies forming to meet demand from the health care exchanges that have been created. This should come as no surprize to anyone.

BINGO!

Strange bedfellows: Liberals and the health insurance companies.

It won't last long. Once the insurance companies start denying/rationing treatment.... still another shoe will drop.
That's because you're a partisan hack to blinded by ideology to understand that the universal mandate and health exchange concept and the expansion of medicare were REPUBLICAN IDEAS!!!!

They only started opposing them when a Democrat President and a Democrat controlled congress compromized to use THEIR IDEAS and passed them into law for purely partisan political gain.

They were vehemently opposed to it, ya know...

Would you rather charge a healthy 25 year old $45 a month or a 60 year old $1500 a month and then cancel their insurance when they get sick?
No they weren't. They were vehemently opposed to a single payer system.

No they were not Republican ideas. Why must you continue parroting that dimwitted talking point?

Because he wants to blame republicans when it fails. Even Romneycare isn't what it would be if Romney's vetoes would not have been overruled. "It's just like Romneycare" doesn't make it any more republican than naming your dog "cat" makes him a feline.

Very true....I just get tired of it when people with supposedly a modicum of intelligence unintelligently parrot those talking points.

It's not going to fail!
Despite billions in propaganda
Poor people love freebees

That's actually why it will fail. Currently almost everybody signing up for it gets a nice subsidy (The Dude, Damocles, and a few others who actually pay taxes pay for it), which trend will continue. The very sick and those subsidized will not be able to generate the revenues necessary to keep this mess afloat.

It was designed to fail, when it does they hope that they'll be able to convince people that adding still more government to it will be the recipe for success. The first step towards single payer because they know they can't just do it in one fell swoop without people swarming the capital and throwing them out.

Unlike y'all I believe Obama means it when he says we "have to take it in steps", and that it is exactly what he is doing.

...which is why they passed a law they claimed they didn't know what was contained in it...they knew that once it became law and survived the Supreme Court, it could never be rescinded.
