Gun rights expanded

And Ruger makes some of the best bolt action rifles & semi-auto pistols out there, IMO.

I agree. They also have an extensive line of products that are uneffected by knee-jerk bans on high capacity pistols or "assault rifles".

I don't expect a high school grad to be able to think past NRA talking points.
But your other rightwing bretheren should be able to get it.

Zero guns would not result in less than 17,000 murders. Thats laughable Smarter than noone, thanks for the comedy

Then explain why there has been a drop in the number of murders, at the same time that Gun ownership has increased.

Bullshit, you may not pay for it. But you sure parrot it. I could give to flying fucks if the murder rate is going down.

17,000 is exponentially too high. If Europe can do it we can. We're smarter than they are. Save for the pickup truck driving wife beater wearing NASCAR fan.

With you announcement of "I could give to flying fucks if the murder rate is going down." completely dismisses all of your other arguments; because it proves that you're just scared of guns and then you use reasoning that equates to a 5 year old.

It prob won't happen, we have way too many dumbasses like you. Europe does lots of things better than we do. That doesn't mean we aren't the best country by far. I know that's a little complicated for a bafoon like you.

Thanks again for the comedy about having judges not be college grads. LOFL

Does anyone else see the irony in this??

Top, you are spouting bullshit again. There were just under 17,000 murders in 2004 (the latest year I saw figures for). And only 70% of those were committed with firearms. So your 17,000 becomes 11,900. Pity that college education didn't teach you to read all the facts and do a little math.

So at least 5,000 of the murders would still have happened.

As for your idea that taking all the guns would stop all the gun murders, that is idiocy. There is no way anyone could possibly take up all the guns, and you know it. You are talking like the NRA and gun buffs are stopping us from having a totally gun free society. That is not true, and you know it.

I am guessing you want to ban all hunting rifles and the like too? Since you want no guns at all to be in private hands.

Now, add in that we can't see to keep guns out of the hands of criminals; so basically it's just the disarming of honest citizens that he's talking about.

I think very well for myself. And I am educated enough to know that you cannot compare populations based on a single factor. Americans are more violent than the french or english in many ways.

Look up and see how many assault charges are filed in England and France. Our rates for that are MUCH higher, and it has nothing to do with guns.

It might have something to do with people bragging about their college degree while they make stupid mistakes, but thats just my opinion.

Being pissed off is part of our gene structure.
Our ancestors were people that were pissed off where they were, they came here and remained pissed of people.

At least WE don't riot after soccer events.

Dutch gun law is typical of the Western European approach. Firearm possession is not subject to any constitutional protections, but regulated simply in the Arms and Ammunition Act (Wet Wapens en Munitie). Weapons, including firearms, are divided into four categories, and for each of the categories a certain maximum punishment is set for "voorhanden hebben" (possession), and "dragen" (carrying in public).

Only citizens who are members of hunting and shooting sports clubs may obtain licences for weapons. And even then they may only get a licence for category III weapons (sports weapons).

Firearm possession and use by the military and the police is not subject to Arms and Ammunition Act, but regulated separately.

Sale/Use is only for those age 18 or over. Gun ownership is extremely low with only three weapons per hundred people [1]

And................................................. what??

I've still got my Ruger .22 semi-auto pistol, that I bought 37 or 36 years ago.
Still the most accurate gun I've seen.

I've got one too...and accurate is right. I use mine for squirrel hunting and shoot a lot of them in the head. Plus in the 20 years that I've had mine it hasn't jammed a single time, and that's with me only cleaning it twice a year or so.

Needed to add that I had a Ruger 9mm and it was one of the best 9 mm's that Ive ever had.

I used to use mine for rabbit hunting.
They thought I was nuts, until they realized that I didn't have to worry about spitting out buckshot during my meal.

I always use a .22 for rabbit hunting when there are only 2 or 3 of us going. Any more and it gets kind of unsafe so I use the 410 and won't shoot unless I have a head shot....I don't like eating around the shot pellets either.
