The letter was part of an album collected by Ghislaine Maxwell, the former Epstein associate currently in federal prison. Trump denies writing the letter.

Think about it: there would have to be more than just a slim margin in the House and Senate for the Dems just to be able to vote an article of impeachment, much less removal of office ... and that would depend wholly upon the mid-term elections.

The current make-up of the GOP is heavy on the Maga and Alt-Right. Even with the current in-fighting that's brewing over the Epstein scandal, the die hards, their donors (corporate, AIPAC) and the triple trumper voters are going to change their tune. So even if the Dems reclaim the edge in Congress (and that' not a guarantee with all the shady voter suppression tactics and gerrymandering in red states, the best they can do is becomes serious obstructionists to anything that Dump & cohorts do to further dismantle FDR's "New Deal" and major parts of gov't oversight via the Constitution.

Meanwhile, it's up to Americans to organize and resist. Also, in the words of Frederick Douglas "Agitate! Agitate! Agitate!"
