Seriously, whenever you mentioned brain damage, I suddenly felt very stupid...

Drug legalization is not an easy to accept route, and I was underplaying the dangers of Ecstasy I guess.

I wouldn't put it up there with heroin or crack cocaine, but it's definitely a step above marijuana. I call it a Tier 2 Drug.

I try to be honest and forthright about the dangerous side effects of some drugs. I find that groups like NORML have compromised their credibility by trying to whitewash the dangers entirely.

I try to argue that there are dangers, but that to some extent a person should have a right to decide for themselves. After a lot of thought, I decided that I would not support legalization for heroin. After your first time, it is no longer a choice to continue it.

It cannot be said that someone "chooses" to keep doing heroin anymore than you "choose" to continue breathing.
