I accept that human life begins at conception. However, I also believe the rights of a fetus are trumped by the rights of its host, at least until viability. The bottom line is that it isn't a decision I'd ever feel comfortable making for anyone, which is why I'm pro-choice.

Your opinion on those topics is not what I questioned. It was this claim: "Science is not a political issue except in the perverse minds of those incapable of an iota of rational thought. " Which given the political infighting on those topics proves incorrect.

Probably because I haven't been back in that thread since I posted in it and my question was pretty much meant as a rhetorical question. It's a pretty silly thread and I don't see the point in wasting time discussing an issue on which you have already made up your mind.
