They are correct, actually, she accomplished quite a bit in just the 100 days she had, with more time she may have been able to turn out the Democrats who didn’t show up, but it is all water under the bridge now
 
It rather looks today what happened was that the people who run elections expected a very close election so minimal cheating was required, but the pollsters were nowhere near right yet again. The election folks were not prepared to do what was required to declare Harris the winner.

Normally it takes till Jan/Feb for the experts to go over the evidence and report back with confidence, so this evaluation might change.

"The issue where the academy is most out of step with the electorate writ large is, as the author notes, in its dogmatic commitment to "diversity" and racial preferences. This, by itself, is going to lead to a conflagration and perhaps disaster--since there's no denying that Trump has the tools to create real problems for higher education, and may finish it off as the world leader.

With more time there woulda been a primary and she'd drop out before Iowa.

A Pew poll showed that 75 percent of Black respondents and 85 percent of Latinos are in favor of voter ID laws. After the Supreme Court banned affirmative action in college admissions, Gallup found that 52 percent of Black and 68 percent of Latino adults supported the decision. Another Pew poll, consistent with earlier findings, showed that only 4 percent of Latinos use “Latinx,” and that of those who have heard of the term, the vast majority reject it. And then there are perhaps the most important data points of all. Donald Trump increased his support among Black, Latino, and Asian voters from 2016 to 2020, then increased it again from 2020 to 2024 (he also got a majority of the Native American vote). The light was blinking. Now it’s solid red."
