The timing worked in her favor, which is good overall. It's so late in the campaign a challenge makes no sense. Further, she's already running as Biden 2.0 which is the best shot to destroy trump. The vast majority in this nation benefitted from Biden. Many viewed him as old, and that squinting thing doesn't help. His voice is often weak. It's just a bad look.
Harris will make trump appear like the wrinkled old man that he is. She'll trigger him like Hillary never did.
