Harris to speak at 4:00, and will call Trump to concede

I congratulate conservatives & Republicans on the win. It was big, decisive and legitimate.

But I will also urge them to pay attention to how adults handle losing. It's important for the country to heal after tough & often bitter elections.

I will hope the best for Trump and hope he does well - but he acted like a baby when he lost, never conceded, and sowed doubt about election integrity that will probably take a generation to move on from.

The best way for the country to heal is not call half of th citizens "garbage". Oh that's right you filthy cockroaches did nothing to sow division did you? This is why leftists don't deserve respect.

Adults don't disappear before addressing their supporters without so much as a few words. Hillary Clinton and Heels Up Harris did.

I find that a little weak in terms of criticism when Trump never made a call to concede, never publicly conceded, didn't attend the inauguration, didn't meet w/ Biden afterwards, and inspired a riot at the Capitol.

OK, I gotta put on this thread what I am reading and hearing from some of the people to the right concerning this election and 2020. Many are claiming that this election and Trump's performance absolutely shows that 2020 was rigged...stolen.

I really thought that idea would go away, but they are claiming because there was more scurtiny in this election in states where the vote was close that the cheating that took place in 2020 that allowed basement Biden (their oft used words) to win couldn't happen this go around. Oh well, we'll see going forward what happens in the US.

I think people are just so invested in that lie at this point - the "Big Lie," as we say. People have put all of their emotional energy into it. It is hard for many to step back now, and admit what we all know - our elections are the most secure in the world.

It's just common sense. Ben Franklin famously said, "Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead." And rigging an election is a massive secret, that would require the involvement of hundreds of people, at minimum.

I'd also add to my last post - if those invested in the Big Lie are using that as justification, and isolating 2020 as the "only" time....I'm okay w/ that. It's probably the best we get from that crew, and at least helps us get back to trusting elections.

But if that becomes just a go-to every time they lose an election....

Some of the people to the right are stupid and have short memories. After all the failed investigations, court cases and dismissed lawsuits over the 2020 election, people have to be nuts to stick with this conspiracy. You're a math teacher, you know statistics and probabilities. trump wasn't owed the 2020 election just because he was the incumbent.

I agree with this. As much as I did want anyone but Harris in this election I simply cannot believe there was mass fraud in 2020. Can't do it...won't do it.

The call to concede had nothing to do with it as this was not a close election by any stretch. A simple thank you to the gathered crowd would suffice. Perhaps Heels Up had an actual Beyonce concert to attend.

Your concern for Dem supporters and proper candidate manners is noted.

Dems know how to lose. How pathetic.
