Havana Daydreamin' In Washington

Damn.... oh well still best week ever! 2A is an incorporated, individual right, 4th of July, and now a bill that lets me travel to Cuba. Oh and my wedding anniversary, which will be spent in Hell.

Don't forget Byrdie.

Anyway, I support normalized relations with Cuba, so this is a good move. Just think, opening up to another communist state could mean another inlet for cheap manufactures, and it would be fun to see populists blow another gasket!!

Edit: I wrote this before I saw Asshates' posts!! Can you say, "psychic"?

yeah. we heard all this crap before. Now we have no jobs. So shut you're lying internationalist fascist mouth and choke on your bloated butt-tongue.

I knew real unemployment was high, but NO JOBS?!!! AT ALL?!!!!

So the roughly 80 to 82 percent of the workforce that are supposedly employed are all faking it? Or are they all walking around in an international fascist-induced fugue-like state?

Hmmmmm....Sounds like someone needs a hug.....

Try repeating this little phrase over and over between mouthfuls of jello, Ass.

"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and people like me!" :good4u:

Well.....On second thought, maybe not.....

Meanwhile, I'm going to see if I can get a pint of Guinness past my bloated butt-tongue.....There's the love.....Oh yeah....

You're pathetic. And you suck at writing.

And yet, for some odd reason, you feel uncontrollably compelled to read and comment on what I write.

As Bartles and James used to say, thanks for your support!

I read what most people write. You're constipated self congratulatory style is particulary boring, and devoid of originality. True, you can write long sentences with proper clauses, but that's sophomoric and annoying.

This isn't a good season for shellfish anyways. They're currently breeding and that makes them taste, well, slimy.

Good point, old man!

Best to stick to the land rovers as it were, clearly.

That would be beef, chicken and pork, by the way, Ass. Just so you don't get confused and try to eat a British 4X4.

Currently thousands of Americans travel to Cuba every year (one website said 60k traveled there in 1995). They take a flight to Mexico or Canada and then to Cuba. When you get there, the Cuban government does not stamp your American passport, they instead stamp an insert and place it in your passport. There are far more reasons to go than the cigars, as socialism has helped to turn an otherwise stellar strain of tobacco into mediocre cigars that don't draw worth a damn and that don't burn well. Cuba has some of the best untouched (for now, Thanks BP) reef diving areas in the entire western hemisphere. Cuban food rocks, the hospitality is first rate. We can travel to and trade with Vietnam, a country that killed 58k+ American servicemen and who tortured American POW's. We can travel to China which makes Cuba look like a human rights violating neophyte. It is time to end the embargo and travel restrictions. Much as I hate it and you hate to hear it, Castro won and like Vietnam before it, it is time for the US to give up it's hardline.
