Have's and the Have's much less

Lol...

This isn't true. Most of them have a selection of good jobs to choose from. I watched a report very recently on this particular phenomenon.

My Bad!...I forgot to mention Wal-Mart,BK,Home Depot,Pep Boys,(forget Taco Bell...must be imported labor),JC Pennys,Sears,Sizzlers,Kragen Auto,the list is imense...sorry bout' that!

battleborn, let me guess you didn't finish college? LOFL

What is your obsession with college? I finished college and I still think you're full of shit, so that skews your statistics. Ornot finished college and he obviously also thinks you're full of shit further skewing your statistics.

There appears to be broad agreement across socio-economic lines that you are full of shit, could it be because you are full of shit?

I think you are onto something Darla. An educated asshole is still an asshole. Just has an education.

most do, but to say it to someone who's not highly educated is to imply that it's tough to advance from your social class.
In fact, immagrants advance social classes at a higher percentage.
Why cause it's easy, but crybaby limosine liberals like you don't get there you need to feel that it must therefore be tough.
Azzhat never stepped in a college business class, you won't find a poster with more investment knowledge than the spin.
Weak ass turbo-lib attempt at a slam.

topspin, you're a petulant and ignorant moron.

Right...

They did a follow-up reporting on a group of random college graduates that they followed into college who were choosing tech degrees. Of them, none of them had less than two well-paying jobs offered, not even one. Most had more than six to choose from. One can help on tech support from far away, one cannot load software and actually run a network from there, nor can they come in and fix your network.

Let me see if I've gotten this right. You observe that immigrants "advance" social class more readily than native born Americans. Based on this you conclude that it's "easy" to advance one's social class.

Uh huh. And that follows how, exactly?

For one thing, you haven't demonstrated that immigrants really do move up in social class more readily than native born. That's a truism beloved by certain groups of conservatives but it hasn't been well supported here. Anecdotal evidence isn't very convincing.

Even if it is true, though, what difference does it make?

Right...

this is some funny shit thanks leftnuts, I have a lot of teaching to do to educate my fellow turbo-libs.

Ornot, plenty of books have been written including the data.
the one I got mine form is the millionaire next dore.
Author is a PHD and expert on wealthy americans. I'll take that over a bunch of hippy anti-establishment blow hards.
Criminal Justice, wow that degree sure lends itself to economic wisdom. LOFL

Duhla, other than having good high school level insults you've shown the economic acumen of the dipstick that you are. Hense I remain your teacher.:tongout:

Bottom line.... higher education doesn't mean shit. It is the application of knowledge by an individual that matters. I know people with MBAs that are ignorant when it comes to applying what they have learned. I also know MBAs that are some of the best business people I know. Likewise, not having a degree does not mean you cannot be successful..... Bill Gates is THE example of that. Richest man in the world (self made)... number of degrees? ZERO.

As for Ornots assessment of staying at the level to which you were born (or at least close proximity to said class) I think that is also bullshit. Again, while it is certainly tougher coming out of the lower class, it can be done. It is a question of application and personal responsibility. It is easy to say..."it is too hard" or "I was dealt a bad hand in life" and use those as excuses to not perform to your potential. But they are still excuses. If one person can rise, anyone can.... just because many do not try, doesn't mean it cannot be done.

it's also the exception to go from middle or upper middle to rich.
that doen's make it hard as you proved in a year

Not hard Spin, It is much easier if you play by your own rules instead of playing the game the way you are taught.
