Try again; more LIES to "get Trump".

FEMA is an inefficient waste of resources and time. Much better to send emergency disaster relief aid directly to the states, under the direction of the governors.

From your article:

"

DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told ABC News, "The attempt to spin a personal career decision into some big scandal is RIDICULOUS. It is laughable that a career public employee, who claims to serve the American people, would choose to resign over our refusal to hastily approve a six-figure deployment contract without basic financial oversight."

"We're being responsible with taxpayer dollars, that's our job," McLaughlin said. "FEMA experienced no delays in deployment of assets, and Texas officials have unequivocally and vocally applauded the federal government and FEMA's response. If anyone is upset by the end of unchecked, blank-check spending under President Trump's administration, that says more about them than it does about us."

Guess that head of FEMA search and rescue is lying, especially since some Trump lackey, who knows what to say to keep his job, says so

Trump is making FEMA ineffective, and has openly said he wants to shut the agency down and let the states fend for themselves.

When I was in the oil and gas industry, I got 12 million dollar drilling prospects approved at the mid-management level.

When Trump demanded FEMA get any 100k acquisition approved at the Cabinet level it's bound to slow down search and rescue operations

27 CHILDREN DEAD — FEMA ENGINEERED THE FLOOD ON PURPOSEWhat happened at Camp Mystic wasn't a “natural disaster.” It was a federally sanctioned mass murder. On July 4th, 2025, 27 children and staff were slaughtered by rising floodwaters — not because of nature, but because FEMA erased the warnings, rewrote the maps, and handed innocent lives over to the elites on a silver platter.FEMA deliberately removed 30+ structures from floodplain protection so the camp could expand into a danger zone Texans long called “flash flood alley.” This wasn’t a bureaucratic oversight — it was geoengineered blood sacrifice disguised as environmental tragedy. HAARP-style weather weapons were deployed overnight. Winds twisted into chaos. Waters surged while the children slept. The Camp Mystic site had been red-flagged for years, but in 2020, just as Biden’s regime stole the election, FEMA quietly cleared the flood hazard. Trump had been preparing to expose FEMA’s flood map corruption — then the map data vanished. The Biden puppet show gave FEMA full rein to serve the globalist depopulation agenda under the disguise of public safety.Christian institutions like Camp Mystic are targets. They teach values. Discipline. Truth. That makes them enemies to the elite cult that worships control, chaos, and corruption. Camp Mystic didn’t push drag shows or gender chaos. It taught faith. That was its death sentence. Two days before the flood, state inspectors gave the camp a green light. No warnings. No alerts. No plan. Then the hurricane-force weather hit. Children were drowned. Crushed. Torn from cabins. Staff obliterated. FEMA’s response? “Climate change.” A slap in the face of every grieving parent.FEMA doesn’t protect America. It profits from its pain. Its flood appeal process is rigged. Elite developers win 90% of the time. Their reward? Real estate in “cleared” death zones. Their cost? Nothing. Our cost? Dead children. Now, internal FEMA whistleblowers are stepping forward. They confirm: the warnings were real. The flood risks were known. The orders came directly from Washington. The massacre was premeditated.President Trump and the real government-in-waiting are tracking FEMA’s crimes. The map changes. The HAARP deployments. The contracts funneled through BlackRock proxies before the water rose. This was a controlled op.They want us to fear the flood. We fear the ones who created it.Trump knows. GITMO waits. And justice is coming.I risked everything so you could know the truth. Don’t turn away now!

And that is what he is doing and states have not had time to budget any money to help their people when a disaster happens ( if they ever do )
And so far the states in the south have been lucky we haven't had a hurricane yet. heck they haven't gotten a lot of help with the floods and tornado and when there is a big disaster an a lot of people get hurt the states won't be able to handle it because they don't have money set aside .
IMO it won't be long before we find out how well the states handle it.

The Democrats should be blasting this through bull horns.

Picture you need to train a rescue team that only is used once every ten years. That is less efficient than training a rescue team that is used every year. The lower the level of government, the less efficient for some tasks.

I distinctly remember that George W. Bush was rayciss because he caused Katrina.

They'll have to either raise taxes or cut services to cover what FEMA and other fed agencies provided. Neither will be popular with the people.

Looks like elections have consequences, eh?

Disasters don't care about state boundaries. It is better to have a central response available so that *all* involved get the help needed. This piecemeal state by state nonsense is inefficient, haphazard, and will result in some receiving help and others going without.

Actually thats not true. In every disaster, its always churches and local people who do the best work. The Feds are always a day late and a dollar short.
