Health Care vs. Health Insurance

So mister tranny healthcare/health insurance guru, why is it Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements suck?

Becuase the program is only funded to the tune of $500B a year.

If you funded it more, you could increase reimbursement rates.

Secondly, private insurers and providers already collude to set the price in the providers' "chargemaster", which you haven't even talked about -and which is integral to any discussion about health care costs- because you are a poseur who is faking a backstory for your message board character.

A "Chargemaster" is a book the provider keeps that has pre-determined and *dictated* pricing that insurance companies and the provider worked out between themselves that preserves profit margins for both by inflating the costs.

Medicare has nothing to do with that.

Providers contract with Medicare just as they do with ins cos. And not all providers do.
And if you think Medicare gets better rates due to volumn, you do not understand how it works and would be wrong under your own premise.
And then there is the fraud which they do little to stop.

then there is the fraud which they do little to stop.

And the Democrats want to turn over all health coverage to the government.

Ah, so then explain the concept to me; pretend I'm one of your inbred relatives and explain it to me as you would explain it to Cousin-Brother Earl with the cleft palette.

All an insurance company does is administer reimbursement to your doctor. That's it. That's all they do.

You don't understand the concept of insurance. That is what I am saying. You keep proving it. I could explain it, but it would be like trying to explain it to a fungus
