Heavy gunfire currently being reported in in Caracas, Venezuela

The video appears to be gameplay footage from Arma 3, often misused in conflict reports. While real explosions occurred in Caracas (per CNN, Reuters, AP), this clip doesn't match verified event footage.

Fooled me.

And apparently others as well.

Statement from the Ministry of Communications of Venezuela:

"We want to clarify that what occurred in the center of Caracas was due to drones flying over the area without authorization, and the police fired warning shots. There was no confrontation. The entire country is completely calm."

They used A10 a when they arrested Maduro I wonder if that A10 footage was from that night.

I see Ziggy said it was video game footage. I had wondered if that might be the case.

I think you Trump Chumps should get familiar with the Venezuelan defensive capabilities. Essentially, any invasion will have to mimic what went down in Vietnam or Afghanistan. Neither bode well in regards to casualties on both sides.

I am. Venezuela is essentially defenseless. The population isn't intrinsically armed, nor are they particularly motivated to keep a Maduro / Socialist government in place.
