In fact, Trump has further empowered Iran’s hardliners, and given Iran control over the Straits which previously was considered international water and neutral. Fee now is a million to pass, and with a reported 500 ships waiting to pass Iran appears to have inherited a windfall, now and moving forward

Frankly I dont even understand why a ceasefire to negotiate a ceasefire is necessary or even to go to Islamabad. I have not been to the office since Covid and everything is fine. Surely they can just set up a zoom and use the appropriate breakout rooms.
