HELP ME ON THIS ONE SOMEBODY PLEASE....

So, here's the difference:

When the minimum wage is raised, it provides people with more buying power. So even if prices need to be raised to compensate somewhat they don't have to be raised as much because their volume of sales increases.

Tariffs are taxes paid by the consumer that provides zero benefit to either the consumer or the seller.

You trumptards should know this shit. Just one of the reasons you voted for the worst disaster for our country in history.
There are no tariffs on goods made in America Trump is trying to move manufacturing back to America,

The wages went up almost 100%, retard. Nobody should have to pay more for things than what they're worth, that includes labor.
As the wages went up, so did the cost of everything else. Fuel price lowering may help offset that some.
^This post will rile many commies. 😆
Hamburgers went from$4-$6 to $8-$11.
And then then they threw in some shrinkflation because fuck you, that's why. :rofl2:
Don't worry, you're not alone in that.

You missed or sidestepped the point.

Whether the minimum wage increases were justifiable or not, is beside the point.

The question was... if the trumper right was opposed to the minimum wage increases based on its effect on prices, why isn't the trumper right opposed to or even concerned with wage increases because of trump's tariffs?

The answer to that is simple.

As trump so famously pronounced once about a decade or so ago...

trump + gun + Fifth Ave + 💥 BANG 💥 + dead/injured person = trumpers ---> :dunno:

If the minimum wage kept up with inflation, it would be 25 bucks an hour. The money that was not paid workers, went to the owners and the wealthy. We paid more in taxes and support for those underpaid. We pay more in policing and courts for not paying a living wage. The people do not get out of the costs. The wealthy do.

Now do medical and housing and car insurance and property and rental property taxes and the price of fuel.
The Covid thing shut out the bulk of small businesses.
The Commies do not want the America it's been for 200-plus years. They want to burn it down and rise from the ashes as Commie Totalitarian Total Surveillance America. IMO, it will not go well for them.
I could be wrong. If they win, people will suffer bigly, though. :dunno:

We are headed from a plutocracy to a dictatorship. This will entrench the rich in leadership in every aspect of society and governance..Trump has billionaires heading nearly every government agency. They are not making it better for the people. Project 2025 is a blueprint for the wealthy to rule , ruthlessly.
What we are not close to and never have been is communist. The only time it had a tiny foothold in America was the Great Depression, when the evils of free rein capitalism were bared. Capitalism requires strong and thorough regulation. We all know the wealthy and corporations scream about and fight regulating. Trump is their man, not yours.

Oh, have all Communists ever been in charge of all the textbooks published in America before? Because I think not, yet that's how it is right now.
Dumbass.

I've had all the math anyone ever needs. That side of my brain is developed, boy.
Have you taken Advanced College Algebra with Calculus?
No? STFU.
Did you get an A in it? No. STFU again.
And yet you don't know the difference between an average and a minimum.

You lost me at "You Trumptards", tard.
And yet you don't know the difference between an average and a minimum.
What makes you think that, boy? :rolleyes2:
I think you're minimally intelligent. How 'bout dat, bitch?
Borderline retarded mufugger you. 😆

What? Are you crazy? I shudder when you crazy rightys type such nonsense, revealing you likely believe it.

I got a good good question for everybody....WASN'T THE ARGUMENT FOR NOT RAISING THE MIN. WAGE WAS THAT CONSUMERS WOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THINGS, THAT WALL STREET WOULD HAVE TO PASS THE COSTS ON TO ALL OF US?
Nope. The argument against minimum wage is that any and all contracts between two parties, e.g. employer and employee, should be entirely between those two parties, and should not involve anyone else, especially not the government.

Suppose you had an old, used book that you wanted to sell. It really isn't worth much and you aren't going to have many offers. You are hoping to get $6 for it. I come along and offer you $11 and you think that's great. Unfortunately, the County registrar informs both of us that it would be illegal for you to sell that book for anything less than $47, and that law exists to prevent you from being exploited. So, I kindly pass on buying your book and you lose the only sale opportunity you are ever going to get.

That's the same as having a minimum wage law that arbitrarily and artificially raises the price of labor above what it is worth to an employer, the employer will pass. Employers would rather go out of business and not lose money than to remain in business at a loss.

Listen, depending on where you live, most ppl are paid 12 and up. But you never answered the damn question....why is it, raising the min wage is a problem for consumers, but Trump's tariffs aren't?
Minimum where I live is $7.25.

tRump's tariffs cause more pain than raising the wage ever could.

The reason that's not a problem for the tRumplings is because they were ordered not to notice.

For decades upon decades, all labor kept hearing was if we raised the min. wage, jobs would be lost and they'd have to pass the cost onto consumers and and and Companies would leave....heard this shit for decades. In comes the Trump tariffs...the markets are making a killing, consumers are paying more and more and not one gotdamn company on Wall Street has packed its bags and left. However, they're cutting jobs and hiring less.
