I actually DO want to see what the problem was and how this election came down to what it was.
As I understand it the Right saw the Left as being:
1. Obsessed with weird gender designations
It's kind of there, in your face, the whole LGBTPDQRSTUV thing...
2. Accepting of every weird view anyone wanted to hold like being gay or being trans or having green hair and peircings
No, it's the in your face, putting it on Front Street thing like with pride parades as an example.
3. Offering solutions that might raise taxes (but were never explicitly stated to do so)
The Left openly says they'll raise takes and the solutions they offer are always government based.
4. Talking down to the Right, treating them like they are "less than".
The Left does that to everyone they disagree with.
Meanwhile we on the LEFT saw you guys as being:
1. Obsessed with hunting down and kicking out all who got in here illegally (even if they came here because AMERICANS were paying them)
What's wrong with wanting criminals who shouldn't be here removed from the country? Your statement implies they aren't committing a crime by being here without legal permission.
2. Obsessed with stopping trans surgeries in schools that have NEVER HAPPENED and CANNOT Happen.
An exaggeration. There are schools and other government entities that are pushing the whole LGBTPDQRSTUVW+ - agenda. Surgeries is just taking the extreme and trying to use it to excuse other behavior that is objectionable to most parents with respect to their children.
Why should public schools be in the business of teaching, counselling, or anything else to do with sex or sexual orientation?
3. Offering solutions that might raise taxes (but were never explicitly stated to do so)
This is possible, but the Right does not offer solutions that require more government or more taxes as a rule. For example, the Right would prefer market driven health insurance / care to a universal government run system.
4. Calling us "vermin" and "cockroaches" and "the enemy within"
Yea, jerks exist everywhere. The difference between the Left and Right is the Left is willing to use government to carry out their hatred of the Right and the proof is worldwide on that.
We can't have differed on the economy because under Biden the inflation RATE has dropped, manufacturing jobs have started coming back in larger numbers than under Trump 45, and record wall street performance. The worst thing that has happened under Biden is that the price increases from the post-COVID inflationary spike are not down yet. Prices are high.
This is a canard, a red herring. When Biden took office inflation was barely 2%. It shot up to nearly 10% before dropping back to around 3%. Bankruptcies right now are up about 16% from last year where they were about 18% higher than the year before. All of this is cumulative not just what's currently happening. Overall, since Biden took office inflation has amounted to close to 20%, maybe a bit more when with the previous 4 or 5 presidents it was like 7 to 9% total over their time in office.
On manufacturing jobs... If you take away all of the ones that came back after the lockdowns ended, Biden is breaking just about even today on them. The increase overall in his 4 years right now stands at less than 100,000, a tiny fraction of all such jobs in the US. Basically, the growth in manufacturing during Biden's presidency could be best summarized as typical growth, not particularly good but not particularly bad. Nothing special would summarize it.
Prices are high and they aren't coming down because of that massive inflation that occurred in the last 4 years.
But then you have to ask yourselves: if prices are at this incredibly high amount AND corporate profits are SOARING, then who is REALLY responsible for our collective pain.
Corporate profits aren't "soaring." They are keeping up with inflation. If inflation goes up 20% then corporate profits--not as a percentage but the raw number--will go up 20% too to keep things in equilibrium. Do you even know what the say, top 10 most profitable--by net profit margin--companies are in the US right now. Try making a guess on that without looking it up. Do it off what you believe is the case. Give me like 3 to 5 companies you think have the largest net profit margin, the ones that are truly taking a windfall of profits out of their earnings.
I am. Let's see you reciprocate.I think you're probably smart enough to understand what I just wrote. So....there you are.
