One of the things I do support Trump on is his selection of conservative judges. And at the end of the day conservative judicial philosophy is conservative judicial philosophy regardless of the race of the person ruling. But it's unfortunate Trump and McConnell are not promoting more black and hispanic conservative judges. This is an opportunity to mentor and grow minority judges and it's unfortunate we are not doing so.

It’s smart politics to reach out to all voters. Republicans need to do more to reach out to minority voters, that’s just a fact. Conservatism isn’t a philosophy that benefits only whites. It benefits all and republicans need to continually sell that message. Conservatives need to do outreach and need to make an effort with young minority voters and in this case with potential minority judges.
