Here's white men being oppressed.........

It’s smart politics to reach out to all voters. Republicans need to do more to reach out to minority voters, that’s just a fact. Conservatism isn’t a philosophy that benefits only whites. It benefits all and republicans need to continually sell that message. Conservatives need to do outreach and need to make an effort with young minority voters and in this case with potential minority judges.

Our tent is big, and all inclusive. Race pandering is unnecessary, and comes off as disingenuous.

First off out tent is not big as evidence of folks fighting over who is supposedly a real conservative over feelings towards trump. Coservatism is bigger than any one person. Saying i’ll choose you because of your race even if you have done a lessor job is pandering. Reaching out and mentoring people to help them is not pandering. Sitting back and waiting for minority voters to come to us isn’t working. We, Republicans, need to be in the trenches telling the beneficial story of conservatism over and over to people in minority communities and working with young minorities who otherwise wouldn’t have access. That’s not pandering. That’s working to expand the tent.

Look at all the Libs, Dems, Fags, and Jooz in this topic who think Trump is appointing judges based on race, rather than to avoid appointing leftwing tyrants. The fact is, mostly white men are qualified. Having shit for skin is only a qualification for lefty racists.

Consider all the highly qualified white men passed over in the Obama years. Only the left thinks race matters.

For starters we need to be mentoring them (I’m not in the legal field so maybe we already are) and developing a pipeline. In fact it should have been underway. And then it is the responsibility of McConnell and the president to put them in positions of power.

It takes work and effort but we should be doing it because it’s the right thing to do along with being smart politically.
Man, you are old school. That's been tried for decades to no avail. Didn't make an iota of difference.

sucking teeth....rolling eyes.....

The Good Ol’ Boys: 2 Years In, Trump Is Making Our Courts A Lot Less Diverse
His lifetime federal judges are almost entirely white, male ideologues. Did someone clone Mike Pence or what?

WASHINGTON ― President Donald Trump has done something remarkable to the nation’s federal courts: he’s filled up their empty seats with clones of Vice President Mike Pence. Whether it’s for district courts or higher-ranking appeals courts, Trump’s confirmed lifetime judges are overwhelmingly white men with records of opposing abortion, LGBTQ rights and voting rights.A whopping 90% of the Trump picks confirmed for appeals courts in his first two years in office were white, according to a Congressional Research Service analysis. 10% were Asian American. He didn’t confirm any African American or Hispanic circuit judges. In that same period, 92% of his confirmed district court judges were white. 4% were Asian American, 2% were African American and 2% were Hispanic.

White males were under-represented in the Obama administration. Now that white males are an oppressed minority it looks like Trump is trying to even things out with affirmative action.

And how would this "mentoring" occur and what would be the reason?

It’s possibe. Republicans won’t get black votes but it’s suicide as a party to give up Hispanic (and Asian) votes to the democrats. They can be had but it does take effort.

I’ll offer a sports analogy. Look at teams in the NBA that were the first to really scout overseas players. The reason they did that? Because there were incredible players all over the world that were there to be discovered. Same within communities of color and immigrants in the U.S. immigrants often make the best republicans because they truly appreciate what America stands for and what it has to offer. These are the people that can help grow our party while backing conservative values

Your reply didn't really address the question; so instead of trying to be vague, why not spell it out and leave no question in how you want this accomplished and how would it be gauged to be working??

Not sure why the attitude USF. We've 'known' each other a long time, just ask the question.

I don't think my answer was vague at all. It's about cultivating a pipeline like any organization does of young talent. What would be the reason for doing so? Because that's how organizations, and political parties, survive and grow. We always have to be building for the future. It's imperative to discover and grow young conservative talent. Results would be gauged by the number of people in the pipeline and ultimately that we put on the bench. The reason it's important to have a diverse pipeline is these folks go back to speak to people in their communities and are examples that minorities can be something other than Democrats.

It hasn't worked in decades and it won't work now.

Blacks already know what conservatism is it's why we don't vote for it.

But keep thinking Blacks and other minorities are dumb. We see your conservative agenda all over the news day in and day out 24/7.

There is NOTHING you can tell to Blacks and minorities that would make them vote for your racist party.

Be happy you have the sell outs you have now. …...tee hee heee

No attitude.

If you really think that this is what needed; then lay it out in detail, so it can be discussed.

Do you disagree with what I wrote? (honest question)

I'm unable to agree or disagree, until I'm able to see how this is intended to happen and what the exact outcome is supposed to occur and this would need to be a precise explanation, instead of a vague suggestion.
