B. The Exigency and Hardship to Defendants Warrant a Stay.
First, the Court may consider "any exigency or hardship confronting any party." Schaffer, 68 Misc.3d at 834. Here, this factor alone justifies a stay of the judgment.
1. Posting a Full Undertaking Is a Practical Impossibility.
Well,...looks like you wont have that worry anymore. POTUS will be more than fine....
Great. So, he’ll personally pay for his appeal right away. Correct?
What is it now? $600 million? Peanuts for him now.
When, exactly, do you think he’ll post that money?
ROTFLMFAO. The company has not gone public yet. And my guess is that smart investors won't touch it with a ten foot pole. There is nothing behind it. Even when it does, Trump has no ability to sell those shares of stock for a specified time. Because of that, he cannot use it as collateral. And by the time he can, I'm guessing it will be worthless. But cool!!
Well, let's say for sake of discussion, he does. Let's further say that he wins on appeal. If NY state has to repay the money he put up as bail, do they too have to pay interest on it? If that's the case, NY state could be in for a major hit in their annual budget. If not, why not?
The funding partner for Trump Media & Technology Group said it has received regulatory approval from securities regulators that will allow it to proceed with a long-delayed merger. The combination could provide former President Donald Trump with a stake worth almost $4 billion.

That's not the way it works.
Because the court holds the money, the state doesn't have to pay anything. If Trump wins the appeal he gets his money back from the court. If he loses his appeal, the state of NY gets the money from the court.

Like all trump endeavors, this one is losing money each day. The valuation has nowhere to go but down.Well, that's a relief. I was starting to worry about his finances after all of the desperation coming out of his camp the past few days....
Russia and Saudi Arabia will invest, betting on a trump win in November.Truth Social had only 4 million (that's with an M) in revenue last year, and profit was NEGATIVE 49 million dollars. Anyone that buys this stock is going to get absolutely hosed but if it's Trump supporters we already know they have a masochistic side.
When one ponders all of trump's stalling tactics in his myriad court cases, it's common to notice that NOBODY ever tries these failed ploys.Great. So, he’ll personally pay for his appeal right away. Correct?

I'm not sure what happened to the legal issues the DWAC spac had?Five reasons you shouldn't invest in Trump's New Media company in it's own words
Explanations of the 5 reasons at the source
They also own a lot of his money. Unlike all of his other lawyers, they demand money up front.I almost feel sorry for those lawyers. Trying to anticipate what pile of shit he’s going to step in next.
“Almost” is the operative word. They brought it upon themselves and own it.
