Cuba pays tribute to Che Guevara
Ernesto Che Guevara would have been nearly 80 today had he lived
The memory of Latin American Marxist revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara is being honoured in Cuba 40 years after his capture and summary execution.
Raul Castro, brother of ailing Cuban leader Fidel, is at the event. The ceremony in Santa Clara opened with Raul Castro reading out a message from Fidel. "I halt in my day-to-day combat to bow my head, with respect and gratitude, before the exceptional fighter who fell 40 years ago," the message said.
In Venezuela, President Hugo Chavez described Che as an "infinite revolutionary" in a speech on TV just before the anniversary.
Shit, I'd go. Cuba is a freaking awesome, incredible experience. As a matter of fact, I almost went this week, but I had a scheduling conflict. No joke.
I might be going this summer.
If you can, do it. Its not always going to be this way. Once it opens up, it'll be no different than going to Cancun. But until then its a whole other planet. The women... They're gorgeous and very, very friendly. They'll take your V-card.
Lmao. Fuck the travel ban.
Lmao. Fuck the travel ban.
Tell them? You mean like I just reported you both for subversive un-American activity tell them? That kind?
Beefy, all of the Cuban Americans I've ever seen have been jaw-dropping, literally the hottest women in the entire tri-county area. I'm pretty sure that would be an interesting experience.
Ah, the tri-county area, the standard measurment of population in Mississippi.
Everone in the US lives in a "tri-county" area.
Where you live, though, the tri-county area contains about 10 million people.
Where I live, it contains about 15,000. It's a bit more useful a reference here.
