Trust me, I know more about that than I care too. The facts are that eating LOTS of red meat over a long period of time can raise your risk of colon rectal cancer significantly but even that risk is far smaller than the risk of colon rectal cancer from obesity and lack of exercise (not to mention the risk to your over all health). Studies have also shown that vegans have higher rates of colon rectal cancer and death than the general population. The risk of colon rectal cancer from eating moderate amounts of red meat is very low. In fact studies have shown that eating grass fed beef in combination with dairy products are about the only known source of conjugated linoleic acids and conjugated linoleic acids are the only known fatty acids accepted by the National Acadamy of Science as exhibiting consistant anti-tumor properties at levels as low as 0.25 to 1% of total fats.So is colorectal cancer!![]()
