Hi. I am Highlight.

Something we can agree on. DP is awful...run like a gulag.

I got a warning for telling someone, "I disagree with you and do not like the way you are responding. I am putting you on ignore."

I left. If you get a warning for something like that...what possible chance is there for putting out your thoughts in a way that does not get you banned.
Bingo! Well said.

PoliticalForum has a quite similar feeling in that I have to be really careful about how I phrase things lest I get spanked by the mods. I haven't been temp banned on there yet, but I haven't posted there lately either. The mods there are close to temp banning me for breaking one of the rules too often (I think some flamebaiting rule?)

There's a reason why I post here much more often than anywhere else. Here, I don't have to mince my words.

Yup, that all sounds VERY familiar. The mods couldn't get me on any of that stuff, so once I really got under Red's skin enough, he suddenly decided that I was a "sock account", made a public spectacle out of it, and the next day banned me for it. Like I said, I've never ever used a sock account (I've always been gfm7175, and ONLY gfm7175, on any forum that I've ever been on over the years).

Red just got mad at me and wanted me gone, and didn't have any legitimate "against the rules" reason to ban me, so he suddenly decided that I was "a sock account" (which is against the rules there) and banned me for it because it's an offense that other forum members can't verify for themselves. It's an easy and unverifiable way for them to instantly ban anyone who they don't like for whatever reason.
GasGuzzler and I were banned from YAP for being each other's socks. There's only one problem with that ...

Debate Politics is awful. Offhand, I forget the names of many of the then-mods, but RedAkston was definitely one of the mods at the time when I was still allowed on there, and Red is actually the specific mod who purposely made a very public spectacle out of my banning from that forum.

Nope, just We the Consumers.

Nope. It would appear that my favorite censor also sucks egregiously at economics. Were you looking for some education on the subject or are you perfectly happy with remaining clueless?
IB daMann, Your actions in this message (Does This Worry you?) violate Rule 6a:

You cannot comment on moderator actions, attack moderation or attack a moderator (in the capacity of being a mod) "upstairs". There is one place and one place only where you are free to comment on moderation - https://debatepolitics.com/threads/forum-rules.28594/

Discussing a moderator in the capacity of a moderator outside of the Binky is a violation of Rule 6a. Furthermore, this whole reponse:

Sounds like Ikari needs a binky.
He and I exchanged some pleasantries. I told him I would make a meme for him, although I don't plan to return to DP anytime soon to show him. He is the very definition of the arrogant moron who is certain he is a genius, and a total coward who is compelled to bully others who are much smarter.

If I were American, I wouldn't have voted for either Trump or Kamala. I -suspect- that Kamala would have been worse, but I'm not sure. I think she would have been better in regards to foreigners and immigrants in the U.S., but I also think she would have been worse in regards to relations with Russia, which could be a very big deal considering Russia's the only country other than the U.S. that could destroy most if not all life on earth.
By better in regards to immigrants do you mean status quo? Just let them flow in unabated? You reveal yourself as more and more of a dumbass by the post.
