Practically any (D) is. Even lackluster Biden beat the #TangerineTyrant. I also like Gov. Whitmer. Haven't heard any rumors yet about her throwing her hat in the ring. She will be termed out next year.

I agree with you -- the tariffs and cuts to essential programs are going to cause an (R) shellacking next year. Doesn't matter if the pain isn't scheduled to start till after the mid terms. That's why #TinyToadstool is muttering about "can't have an election if there's a war going on" and making up fake crime problems in order to install troops in American cities in preparation for martial law and/or voter intimidation.

Yep Trump is making up more BS about not being able to have elections if we are at war. well we had them in every war even WWII, Nam, Iran, Iraq. so why not now if he drags us into another war?

He's priming the pump to cast doubt on the mid-terms. If he can't pull off canceling them altogether, he'll say they're fraudulent and start a court war to keep any (D)s from taking office in January 2027. Wait for it.

That would be nice -- except the Democrats are incapable of projecting any message that helps themselves. I have said for a very long time that the Democrats are their own worst enemy. They need to find a leader with a consistent, coherent message now if they want to stand a chance in the midterms. As the last presidential election showed, simply knowing that TACO is the anti-Christ is not enough.

Well IMO once Trumps tariffs work their way through the supply chain and it starts hitting the MAGAS in the pocketbook they may wake up, the same with his BBB, when people start losing many of the government programs they need and some use everyday and they start getting hurt by their incompetence they may wake up and stop voting against their best interest.

I like Whitmer. The fact that I even know who she is is proof that she's effectively developed a national presence and reputation. What do you think about Jocelyn Benson as your next governor? I don't know a lot about her, but what I do know impresses me.

When Trumps tariffs work through the supply chain , it could be soon or a few months.
As for his BBB the Republicans made sure a lot of it doesn't go into effect till AFTER the mid terms so they can try to keep control of Congress, the DEMS have to make sure the people of the US know what is in the BBB and how it will effect them when they do get put in place.
