The fact of the matter is... implication and inference are two words that are very similar in their meaning, but people who speak and write with accuracy do, in fact, understand the difference. Clearly, you do not.

Clinton's letter to Colonel Eugene Holmes speaks for itself and is unambiguous...he loathe the military.
The affidavit of Col. Holmes, without doubt, explains his feelings about Clinton and the dishonesty Clinton used in his meeting with Holmes to dodge the draft,
and in so doing show is complete and utter cowardice.....
and BTW....Col. Holmes certainly outranks you and is more of a man than you could hope to be in a million lifetimes.....
Incidentally, this is one of the very topics that made me lose all respect for and confidence in snoopes....
Their version of events is very one sided and makes no mention of the affidavit signed by Col. Holmes explaining the events.
They defend Clinton as I suspected they would.

I'll say again... there were a whole lot of people - young AND old - who were deeply upset by, and vehemently opposed to our nation's military actions in Vietnam. Even though I was in uniform from 1968 until 1993, I was personally opposed to our country's misuse of its military in that war, as were many of my shipmates. Standing for one's principles is an honorable position to take. My lifelong best friend was a conscientious objector. I had another great friend who went to Canada to avoid serving in that horrible, stupid conflict. Both of those men are still my close friends and I admire their integrity. I, on the other hand, was a career naval officer. I may have personally disagreed with the decisions of our civilian leadership to take us into that conflict, but I never hesitated to enthusiastically and loyally carry out any lawful command during that, or any other period of my service. I loathed the Vietnam war. Lots of career military men were. That being said, I don't think I was ever a disgrace to my uniform and my advancement, awards and commendations are proof that the Navy didn't think so either.
Of course you would; you're a dunce. I think it is profoundly stupid to falsely infer that Cheney's actions indicated he loathed the military. I think it is profoundly stupid to engage in another off topic effort to derail a thread because you desperately defend a failed ideology and a potential candidate who is a liar and defended a philanderer.
But it is equally stupid to suggest that Cheney's deferments were anything similar to Clinton's efforts to cheat the system to avoid service or to defend his anti-war actions as being similar.
But then you are a historically clueless leftist ignoramus prone to making incredibly stupid and false claims; of course you would once more remove all doubt.

Wrong again Commander clueless; Cheney received deferments, he didn't "dodge" the draft. Clinton cheated the system by falsley enrolling in ROTC which he had no intent of completing and ran to England; he "dodged" the draft.
