Home Depot's 93-year-old cofounder who said 'nobody works' anymore because of 'social

Corporate America screwed itself. No one can live on $15 an hour.

It is so much worse than that. Democrats have been pushing for a $15 an hour minimum wage, but federally, minimum wage is just $7.25, which is less than half that.

In 1978(when Home Depot was founded), it was $2.65, which would be $12.10 adjusted for inflation.

He was talking about you...

Get a clue, Terry. He was talking in an overly broad generalization. He's a bitter, old geezer who hates half of America, so he'd fit right in with JPP's like-minded coots, crackpots and cranks as exemplified by your attack on evince.

Talking to yourself again, Sybil? What did you ever do for work? Odd jobs? Collect cans? Dig ditches?

Don't respond as he does. It is horrible that he does stuff like that. But you have no personal information about him. You can talk about his disgusting mindless posts and make light of them, But you know nothing about how he survives in the world.

He's clearly mentally ill.

One way to assess people is how often they repeat themselves. The dumber or more "disturbed" they are, the more consistent the repetitions. You'll notice that Sybil repeats himself a lot, often the same subject. You don't see him on the philosophy or religious threads writing about his favorite books or spiritual experiences.

While I've posted about my career, not everyone does. I don't recall you writing about your career. I don't know if that's out of paranoia, embarrassment, or some other reason. Then again, unlike Sybil, I've never asked you multiple times over the year. It's not just whether a person answers the question but how they react to the question. Not just once either, but over time.

In case you're curious, I think you are normal. Sybil is not. Regardless, mental illness is an illness and I don't fault him for it. The nature of his illness is what interests me most.
