Home Schooling vs. Compulsory Defenseless Zone Youth Indoctrination

You present a topic that we could all have an intelligent conversation with- HOME SCHOOLING or even Private Schooling vs. Public Education.
It would be a great Thread Topic!

I say go for it. Create the thread!
Fair enough. Which is preferable?

1. Using tax dollars to compulsorily herd children into defenselessness zones for maximum active-shooter convenience while the children are systematically programmed by a leftist political curriculum to be woke, undereducated, scientifically illiterate and mathematically incompetent HATERS

*or*

2. Give parents full control of their children's education while allowing the children to be educated in the safety and convenience of their own homes without imposing any tax burden on We the People and without supporting any teachers unions that serve no other purpose than to snuff the life out of any community education program.

Thoughts?

You obviously were poorly educated.

Christian schools are not paid for by tax dollars.

* Edited by me.

I don't have any problem with parents having a choice!

I am not against Home Schooling, Private schools, or Public Education. So I want to make myself clear on that right from the start of any talk about what is best for children, parents, or taxpayers regarding educating our youth!

I would approach the conversation without having any preconceived politically biased notions about Public Schools, Private Schools, or Home Schooling.

But you tried to put me behind the 8-ball with all of your preconceived political biases about Public Schools. It's as if you want to place the 8-ball wherever you want, at any given time, in a game of billiards to wherever it benefits you the most in giving you the win.

So, I don't see how anything I have to say to you about education would even be heard or appreciated.

I wouldn't even try, because anything I would have to say, would fall on deaf ears because you have already dug yourself in, circled all your wagons with the Conspiracy Theorists, and already firing lead my way Sir!

Once again, BidenPresident knocks it out of the park and leaves little room for any further discussion. Tell me, how do I score tickets to your performance? You're here through Thursday, right?

You clearly are on this forum to be an asshole troll. Ignore.

Is he a Troll or just the typical Republican in our modern world- Better known as the TRUMP ERA!

There was a time that I truly believed there was a contrast between Republicans and Trumptards, but that ship has long since sailed.

Let's face it, they use the old Little Rascals Our Gang mentality, "All for one, and one for all" now!

And they are all as dug-in and infested as Termites!

I simply laid out the facts of the situation in the OP. Are you implying that something I wrote was inaccurate in some way?

If your concern is that there really is no comparison, well I could have told you that earlier. If you had recommended a thread dedicated to comparing the Intel 8088 CPU to the Intel i9 13900K CPU. I would have posed the thread in the exact same way:

Which is preferable?

1. a max 16MHz processor with an eight-bit external data bus, 16-bit registers and a one megabyte address range

2. a 5.2GHz processor with 36MB cache, 24 cores, 128GB address range

If you were planning on trashing the i9 13900K in favor of selling the 8088, yes, you'd have a serious uphill climb in light of a full examination of the situation. One might even think you were being a bit silly.

The same goes for those who try to trash home schooling in favor of children being forcibly removed from their homes and families on a compulsory basis so that the government can indoctrinate them as the government sees fit, exactly in the manner described in the Communist Manifesto. Yes, there would be a serious uphill rhetorical climb as it were, and one (such as myself) would be inclined to think such a person is either uneducated or just stupid. But I always give everyone the opportunity to completely express his opinion. I never try to silence anyone as leftists mostly do.

So, please, give us your thoughts on both Home Schooling and on Tax-funded compulsory government indoctrination that remains outside the control of the parents. You can say as much or as little as you'd like. Then give us your overall conclusion. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to read it.

The Communist Manifesto
The bourgeois clap-trap about the family and education, about the hallowed co-relation of parent and child, becomes all the more disgusting, the more, by the action of Modern Industry, all family ties among the proletarians are torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labour.

So what happens when the parent/teacher are productssystematically programmed by a leftist political curriculum to be woke, undereducated, scientifically illiterate and mathematically incompetent HATERS?”

Home school is overrated, few parents are qualified and educated enough to pull it off, not to mention the time involved, it’s a pipe dream which usually produces uneducated dimwits

Home school is overrated
That's like saying "Mexican food is overrated." To each his own. If you don't like Mexican food, don't eat it; just don't try to render it unavailable for everyone else just because it's not your preferred food. Similarly, if you don't like home schooling, don't avail yourself of it; just don't try to render it unavailable for everyone else just because it's not your preferred method.

few parents are qualified and educated enough to pull it off,
All parents are the unequivocal authority on how they want to raise their children. Home schooling is easy and straightforward and there is nothing preventing the hiring of a private tutor to guide the home schooling. There are so many options and a trained monkey can do it.

The above is a complex question fallacy.

The question should be asked more like this:

Do you think that public education and schools should be mandatory for everyone with few or no alternatives to them? That is, should alternate forms of education like home schooling, charter schools, alternative schools, private schools, and religious schools be banned in favor of all children having to attend a government run public school?

Home schooling is not comparable to private schools. Different concept altogether.

Serious question: Is that what Donald Trump represents? An EVASIVE PIVOT? I've noticed that whenever a leftist begins getting his ass handed to him, he pivots to talking about Donald Trump, and the previous topic supposedly just goes away.

Am I spot on? It's what you just did, right? Am I supposed to be talking about Trump now? What am I supposed to say?

My thought is that you are a partisan hack. You present a false choice. As always. Sorry, but you are just plain stupid.

.

Sir, CPU's only can see Binary states of on and off states! Perhaps you think computers compare to voters or people.

Perhaps all you see are binary states- where everything is either all positive or all negative at the bit level, WHITE OR BLACK, Male Or Female, REPUBLICAN or DEMOCRATIC, RICH OR POOR, all EVIL or all RIGHTEOUS!

I think you may have just revealed yourself here.

You are missing the point. The question I posed, and the one the OP tried to pose, was should alternatives to government run public schools be allowed to exist? I would extend that to possibly allowing private and other schools that hew very closely to the same standards, curricula, etc., that the public schools use be allowed under close supervision of the government. Is this what you would prefer in K to 12 education?

No, clearly talking about home schooling.
