Well... Al Gore won one for his fear mongering on a fake 'catastrophe'.... so in comparison Obama's 'accomplishments' were a huge step forward.

Hell, McCain was still in the running up until August of 2008. Pretending anyone 'knew' Obama was going to be elected a year prior is simply ridiculous.

That said... even in your fantasy world where they did know... it still doesn't change the FACT that Obama has not accomplished ANYTHING worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize.
