Hormuz remains CLOSED.

Three ships transited it in the last 24 hours. At least one is suspected to be Iranian. That 3 is the average since the war began, 60 is the pre-war average.

So Trump has kept it closed? Thanks for letting us know.

The US blockade is essentially working.

You seemed to imply in previous posts/threads that it wasn't

Or is that just the 47th Amendment kicking in?

This war did not go the way he hoped, it went the way the Generals told him it would go.
Aren't Presidents supposed to listen to their Generals?

Did you think Trump was going to draw up the war plans himself?

You do realize that we have been in a low intensity war with Iran since Carter right?

He said three days ago he was opening it? Massive failure.

We have not been in a war with Iran since Carter, our relationship with Iran may have been hostile, but no way that is war. Words actually mean things.

We have been at war since the middle of February. I think the Generals told him this was going to happen, he told them to draw up war plans anyway, and then this happened.

America must exit the Gulf

The Gulf countries have been putting a significant amount of pressure on the US over the past weeks to reach an agreement, says Sultan Barakat, senior professor in public policy at Qatar’s Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

This is because the situation in the region is “really critical at the moment”, particularly for Qatar, which is heavily reliant on LNG sales and has not been able to export it over the past three months, Barakat told Al Jazeera.

It is also important to bear in mind the relations between the Gulf countries, said Barakat.

Saudi Arabia has the most sway with the US because of its size and has been using this to call on it to end its war on Iran as soon as possible, said Barakat.

I see you really love the 47th Amendment.

First you said he couldn't close it and it wasn't closed. Now you say he can't open it. Would you make up your mind?

Curious, if you were rooting for the Mullahs, what would that look like?

Yeah, how many Americans have the Iranians been responsible of killing? They are subtle and do it through their proxies, but they have been at war from us.

Do you have any proof of your assertions or is just more 47th Amendment bullshit?

Closed, open, closed, open, who knows, Trump changes his mind by the day, waiting a couple of hours and he’ll change it again

Yes, but this one only if they tell him what he wants to hear, plus it helps when you fire or demote those that don’t

He can't open it, that is why he closed it. Iran is also keeping it closed.

He tried to open and failed miserably.

We are not closing; quite the contrary.

We only (as is reasonable) require complete and accurate information to process a vessel’s request to transit our waters.

Once permission is granted, craft may sail safely between the islands of Kashm and Larak.

We reserve the right to deny passage through the waterway to vessels linked to US or Israeli aggressors, naturally.

Like the two prior boondoggles Republicans started in the Mideast, we've done nothing but bleed blood and treasure. Republicans are such fucking idiots.

Nope, i do not. I know that, in 1953, the Brits under Operation Boot and America under TP-AJAX instigated a revolution because the Iranians' elected leader Mossadeq was threatening to nationalize Iran's oil. We installed the brutal dictator Shah Pavli, who ruled for 25 years. You must have known that, right.

Many Americans are totally ignorant of their own shameful history.
