Horror video of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska’s slaughter on Charlotte train is met with deafening silence from Dem leaders, media

He was mentally ill. Reagan broke the system to get people help who suffer from mental illness.
No fuck face should have been in prison for his crimes

His history includes convictions for felony larceny, robbery with a dangerous weapon and communicating threats—leading to a six-year prison sentence in 2015 for incidents dating to 2013 and 2014. He was released in 2020.

Within months of his release, Brown was charged with assaulting his sister, and according to WSOC-TV, even Brown's mother has blamed the courts for allowing her son to be out in the community.

His documented record includes: a juvenile arrest in 2007, felony larceny in 2011, armed robbery and threats in 2013-2014, multiple domestic disturbance arrests between 2021 and 2022, misuse of 911 in January 2025, and finally, the August 22 murder charge.

With his record the assault on his sister in 2020 and the arrest in 2021 2022 should have put him in prison for 10 years

His own mother wanted him to be kept locked up

You have not shown that they were all felonies. He was proceeded legally and served his time for his felony. The rule of law was fulfilled. A judge can not hold him indefinitely, there is a process, there are laws. Change the laws, until then , judges hands are tied.
Brown’s criminal record starts in 2011, but most of those early charges — including speeding, communicating threats, and injury to property — were dismissed by the former and current Mecklenburg district attorneys Andrew Murray and Spencer Merriweather, respectively. In April 2014, Brown pleaded guilty to two 2013 charges of felony larceny and breaking and entering. Online court records are barren of details on these cases. A judge (online court records don’t specify who) suspended his sentence of five to 15 months in prison. Instead, the judge ordered he serve two years probation. our months into his probation, Brown robbed a man in an apartment complex in south Charlotte. According to court documents, Brown paced the complex for an hour before approaching a man and brandishing a handgun on Aug. 21, 2014. He “demanded the victim’s phone and money” and left in a 2001 Dodge Caravan with the man’s Samsung Galaxy Note, $450 and a $100 Lempira Honduras currency note. The man called police to the apartment at the intersection of East Arrowwood Road and South Boulevard. Police found Brown’s car at an apartment owned by his mother. He “was cooperative with officers at first and allowed officers to go inside,” according to court documents. Then, as officers found the stolen items, he “grew irate and asked [officers] to leave.” Officers arrested him that same day. Brown pleaded guilty to robbery with a dangerous weapon in February 2015 and was sentenced to a minimum of six years and one month and a maximum of eight years and four months in prison. He served five years and seven months before being released from Central Prison in September 2020. Then he spent one year on parole. Decarlos Brown criminal history Almost exactly a year later, in September 2022, he was again arrested on charges of assault on a female and injury to property, according to jail records. Mecklenburg County online records on the state’s eCourts system do not show any corresponding case files related to this arrest. A year and a half later, in April 2024, Brown was arrested for misusing 911, according to jail records. He posted a $500 secured bond and was charged with the same offense two weeks later, in early May 2024. And again in January. The April and May arrests do not have any corresponding court files, but the January arrest does. Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes released Brown on Jan. 19, the same day he was arrested, on a written promise to appear. On Jan. 21, Judge Fritz Mercer Jr., assigned him a public defender.

So, should Trump, but judges have to follow the rules of law.

Again, judges are forced to follow the law, change the laws.
They Judge could have given Brown jail time for his misdemeanor offensives. The police officers were trying to get him help for arresting him for abusing the 911 system the Judge let him out instead of putting him in jail and medicating him. If the Judge has done that Iyrna would likely be a live today.

Did you not read the last two sentences of his post?
I did it changes nothing, parents unfortunately have no say in institutionalizing their adult children. Change the laws.

Again he should have been in jail for his 2022 assault ...the laws were on the books to keep him locked up

Someone with a record like his should not be able to plead to a probation sentence...should be the max no parole or probation and that can be done with no new laws passed

If the sentence is 15 years u do 15 years

He was being processed through the system, the judge ordered an evaluation. It is unfortunate the wheels of justice turn slowly, again, advocate for the change of the laws.
He should have still been in jail for assaulting his sister. He should not have been back out on the street, ALSO it is obvious that him signing an agreement as grounds of his release was borderline insane itself. We have the laws the judges need to be changed.
