Republicans found the security lapse in Benghazi worthy of six (6) separate House investigations but the assault on their own capitol building, with them inside it? Not so much.

How is Pelosi going to lead an investigation over the security lapse when she was ultimately in charge of Capitol security on 1/6 lol?

Recuse herself? Simply not go there? Not a snowballs chance in hell she would recuse herself so they just won’t go there.

Which investigation is that? Would it give a detailed timeline of security failures, along with who planned and paid for the event? Does it supply an accurate historical detailing if the events? Does it clear up erroneous reporting and conspiracies.

Democrats wanted a bi partisan commission with a panel of non politicians, but Republicans voted that down. What a shame.

The actual criminal investigation will uncover any conspiracy *which would include* who, if anyone, funded it. And thanks for the letting the cat out of the bag: the ‘historical detailing’ is exactly where democrats want to go because it will be Trump centric and from there, they can tie the MAGA movement into it and create political hay and *fortify* the next election with it.

Besides, it’s not like the history is some big mystery. I seem to be able to remember it.

The investigation into criminal activity will not be released unless people are charged for crimes. It will not give a timeline or breakdown of security. It is why a commission is needed.

Your memory of history is sometimes based on alternative facts. A commission will debunk alternative facts.

Again, the commission may exonerate Trump.
