House poised to launch new probe of Jan. 6 insurrection=Good!!

Congress needs to investigate this insurrection attempt and answer the following questions:

At what level was the organized portion planned.
Why did it take authorities so long to intervene.
Why did Trump not demand it stop ASAP.
What police officers assisted and if not terminated yet, why not.
How did these people, who had never been to the Capitol before know how to get to Pelosi's interior office.
What can be done in the future to not let something like this happen again.
How do we teach the uneducated about the process better, so they are not duped into thinking the president of the Senate (in this case the VP) can do something about it.

And since it’s not a criminal charge, the standard of evidence is so low that democrats ‘won’t be able to fail’ in getting the ethical violation on the ‘insurrection’.

There’s not a snowballs chance in Portland OR that democrats would clear Trump of anything. It’s why republicans don’t want to play.

More and more of the planning for 1-6 is coming out and Trump was the planner. The reds know that. That is why they are so against the investigation. Trump was asking the military to get involved and be extremely violent with protesters. He advocated shooting them. He was talked down to asking for shooting them in the legs and being ultra-violent.
Trump is a despicable person and it will come out. And of course, rightys will not care.

Of course they don't. The evidence against Trump is plain as day, and it's more than an "ethical violation". Republicans would be just as fearful of an investigation by a commission they knew would be impartial.

Agreed on Trump. The Republicans fear Trump's constituents and are refusing to do anything that might piss them off. In the end, those radical elements will destroy themselves by doing something even more stupid than the Insurrection.

The House will do that along with some of the Alphabet agencies including the DCPD. Once the plea deals and trials start happening, there will be more public support to investigate.
