Shaken, not stirred!
So Jim "motor mouth" Jordan is now the Republican nominee for House speaker. Let's look at the recent past gems from the GOP that were House Speakers:


Newt Gingrich -FL: spearheaded disastrous gov't shutdown, resigned in 1999 via pressure from House GOP regarding ethic violations.

Paul Ryan -WI; key in implementing "reaganomics" policies that further damaged the economy....sold out some of his core stances to placate the Trump era. Resigned under dubious reasons.

John Boehner -OH; once handed out "donor" checks to fellow GOPers on the House floor.

And now we have Motor Mouth on the docket, who beat out Steve Scaliese. Motor Mouth has been running humiliating and FAILED hearings and investigations for quite awhile now, while ignoring his own subpoena from Congress. Scaliese once attended a rally hosted and run by David Duke in his state ... and then when caught claimed he wasn't aware it was a white nationalist group he was addressing.


So it's real comical when registered republican voters just bleat like sheep as to how they deny the pseudo-fascist and definitely corporatist antics of the current GOP. Problem is, the Dems are too much of a bunch of wimps to challenge them. I mean, that and it took them long enough to finally give Menendez the heave ho for all his corrupt shennanigans. And don't get me started on their love affair with Hillary.

Yes, God indeed bless America because we're going to need all the help we can get!
 
Interesting how the MAGA militia on this forum have next to nothing to offer regarding the circus in the House, even when one of their hero’s stands a good chance of being elected Speaker

I find humorous, but guarantee the Secret Service are meeting quietly drawing up plans to insure the President and VP are not in the same location at the same time just in case Jordan ascends. They know, and we all seen, MaraLago and Moscow, especially when working together, are capable of anything
 
Jordan does not have the votes. The few intelligent GOPers are asking the Dems to help them. They quit meeting due to potential fistfights. The Trumpys are ungovernable. They need help from the Dems.

As I said, at one time most felt it was impossible that the GOP would nominate Trump for President, and now they are about to do it twice

The moderate Republicans, what few there are, are not as obstinate nor dogmatic as the freedom idiots, so with pressure applied, especially with Fox’s help, they’ll give up, and Jordan will ascend

This brief synopsis is a good example of why they so hated and feared Ms. Pelosi, who had her shit together and not a shred of scandal. (Lack of scandal also explains the totally fictitious "gay lover" bullshit they made up about the brutal attack on her husband.)
 
But IMHO, if the Dems want to maintain ANY credibility, they need to tell Chuck Schumer to cut the BS and push to give Menendez the heave-ho. Then they can proceed to lay waste to the GOP circus.
