LMAO... the housing bubble began in 1994 Desh. It escalated in 1999 when Clinton repealed Glass Steagall Desh. It continued to escalate under Bush.

Now... again... WHAT rules are in place that will prevent another bubble Desh?

An accredited broker would have HAD to call out the banks for loading tripple A securities with tained subprimes.

Um Desh... they didn't load AAA securities with subprimes. They packaged the subprime debt pieces together and THEN got a rating on them. The ratings agencies fucked up on how they rated the securities. That had nothing to do with a broker being accredited.

Again you are just spouting off pieces of data and hoping they make a case for you. You have no clue what you are talking about. Another housing bubble could easily occur again. These rules you spout off are not going to prevent that.

It's like this alternative reality with Desh. A big part of Clinton's economic plan was to increase home ownership, especially among minority groups, and they did. Bush continued that strategy.

I know. But if you point out to her that the break out in home prices began in 1994 under Clinton, she goes ballistic and starts tossing out the big guns like 'uz a sociopath' or 'uz a meathead'

But there were real economic reasons for increases in home prices and values in the mid to late 1990s. Not so for the 2001 - 2007 period.
 
It's obvious that Desh isn't capable of explaining her rationale that the housing bubble could NEVER happen again, despite repeated evidence that her cite does absolutely nothing to support her contention. pathetic that she calls US the sociopaths.

Housing starts is a decent indicator, but it is also highly volatile. So while this is indeed a good report for starts, it is not the super duper news you proclaim it to be. Especially when you link to an article stating it is the 'fastest in the last four years'. Given the slow pace of growth in the economy over the last four years you are not really comparing it to much. Again, this is a good number. If it sustains the adjustments at or near this level, that is a healthy sign.

Now, do go back to your ranting and raving about how people are just flat out ignoring your tantrum thread.

A couple of other posters chimed in, in an attempt to point this out to her; but to no avail, because she just continued to rant and rave to herself.
It was really amusing to read.
