Nothing on the internet from inside China gets there without CCP approval...the internet supervision is extremely strong and the punishment for violating Han norms on the internet are catastrophic, not just for the one who does it, but also their friends family and workmates. The party takes the view that those around threats to the party should have seen the danger and turned them into the authorities, so they are legit targets.

All the chaos that pervades American society has little to do with China, just like the stupidity that can be seen everywhere on this forum.
The Han certainly want us to believe that for as long as possible. I certainly know better.

The media focuses on the chaos and magnifies it. Everyday life in America is mostly comfortable, fun and higher standard of living than most of China.
