Yes, my links do. There are cases where the verdict was overturned because of over-zealous prosecutors and judges. A blanket example of that is the Supreme Court striking down charges of obstructing an official proceeding.

There are lots of cases where the person either plead out to misdemeanors, or was found guilty of misdemeanors and got sentenced as if they were a felon.

It took years to correct an injustice that should never have happened. Worse, prosecutors hid and withheld evidence that favored the defendant, such as the mass of security camera video. It's one thing if the court got it wrong. It's wholly another when the court and prosecutors stack the deck to get a conviction. That's the stuff of old Southern trails against some poor Black fellow.

January 6 stands alone, regardless of all of the deflection & whataboutism. The right owns that day.

At least half of this country respect our laws, our constitution, and behave as civilized human beings rather than enraged animals. We call ourselves Democrats and Independents, rather than MAGATs and Cultists.
