The Democrats like to drive home a statistic, that 90% of all drugs are stopped at America’s ports of entry to the point of ad-nausea. Where does that statistic come from, and how does anybody know 90% of all drugs coming to America are stopped at the ports of entry when they logically have no clue how many drugs get into America undetected, if they’re undetected? How do they count “undetected?”

The US Customs and Border Protection agency, which is actually charged with gathering the stats say that 90 percent of heroin, 88 percent of the cocaine and 80 percent of fentanyl comes in through the ports of entry. Of course you are prone to believe Trump, the lyingest president in history. Trump cites Homeland Security and agency run by Gillibrand a Repub that Trump appointed and bosses. He says he uses her stats, but does not say what they are. It does not matter to you. That has been proven, You think Trump is right and the agencies involved know less than daffy.

“According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection statistics, 90 percent of heroin seized along the border, 88 percent of cocaine, 87 percent of methamphetamine, and 80 percent of fentanyl in the first 11 months of the 2018 fiscal year was caught trying to be smuggled in at legal crossing points.
While those numbers deal only with drugs that are caught, border experts say the data accurately reflect the way drug cartels successfully smuggle narcotics into the country.

“Regardless of the number of drug dogs and technology and intelligence, the potential of smuggling the drugs in through a port of entry is far greater. Your ability to be captured coming across between a port of entry is much greater," said Kerlikowske, now a professor of practice in criminology and criminal justice at Northeastern University. "It's very clear that (drugs) come*through the ports."

Says nothing at all about the total amount entering the US.
 
Rightys are asking a lot. They want someone to tell them how many drugs were not seized. Is there some methodology you can suggest? They know how much they seize at ports and how much they get in open areas. Since the drugs seized at ports is way more that 10 times as much, it is easy to surmise that much more is coming through them. That work for you?

Exactly how to do you count what you have not DISCOVERED? However I already made it plain. You are being stubbornly wrong as usual. If they are finding a lot of drugs in one place and not much in others, where do you think most drugs are coming through. I guess if they find nobody carrying drugs in an opening, that must prove that they are all getting through unseen and it is obviously the main drug point. That is what makes sense to you.
