I can't read your link; I was wanting the actual bill to see how it was worded. What this is saying is that they will BUY their crops. That isn't writing them a check for nothing. Trump isn't GIVING them anything. This is another example of the dishonesty in the media today when it comes to Trump.

It was a stupid analogy trying to compare welfare to this. Are Americans getting handouts selling a product? Are they giving labor?

Don't defend stupid government spending just because it is from a Republican. If I can't sell my dishwashers will the government buy those? Government bribes to the left and right are equally stupid.

I said nothing about it being about Trump. I said government giving $16 billion to farmers is no less a "bribe" than money given other groups in return (hopefully) for their vote. It is moronic to suggest it is acceptable because FDR did it.

Does government need $16 billion in farm products? If not, it was a stupid decision whether done by FDR, Trump, Obama, or Bush. Where did you get the crazy idea I said it was unique to Trump? My post did not even mention Trump but his name was included in the article headline. You are being a little defensive of Trump when I did not even attack him.
