How much longer do you think Fascistbook&Twitler will be able to partisanly censor?

You don't think that censorship of the President and others on Twitler is current events? I think you know it is... Though I really should have put this in (and thought I had) General Politics. I'll move it now.

It is, just like metaphor is on topic in APP.

Social networking was invented and designed to help the nerd Zuckerberg get laid. That's it. He accidentally stumbled into becoming a billionaire.
It's not important--none of it--to anybody with a brain.
What makes it dangerous is that half of America--the Trumpanzee half-- has been proven beyond doubt to be brainless.

Just wondering... how much longer do you think Twitler (heil twitler) and Fascistbook can impose their political view on others?

As long as they want. If nothing else, maybe people will start to realize that free speech in any meaningful sense extends beyond government. Constitutionally, it doesn't extend that far, but that's just a matter of our government showing its age.

It doesn't matter anyway though. All the current situation reveals is that "popular will" is mostly a matter of groupthink manipulated by media.

The formula for stability in a country involves using the media to encourage unity among the populace. Our current media is driven by fueling outrage in the pursuit of ad clicks.

Plenty of non-Western countries realize nationalistic narratives are better for the media to promote, like in Singapore.

Trump was blatantly lying. His lies were designed to foment anger and decision. Violence could have come out of it. Freedom of speech is not absolute and this is a great example of what should not be allowed. Facebook did right and they allowed Russia to interfere in 2016. It takes a lot to alarm them.
