How old is too old to shovel snow? Here's what heart experts say.

Dont you feel better now grandpa francis?

I almost always feel great.

What makes you think my mood needed to improve?

We don't want you kicking the bucket too soon old timer.

Whenever I kick the bucket, I will probably consider it too soon. My guess is most of us have to live with that.

Tapioca at lunch time today?;
No. I may make some in a bit, though. I love the stuff. Make it with maraschino cherries and walnut bits. Do you think only old people like tapioca???

Must suck living in a frozen hellhole which needs snow shoveled! :laugh:
:laugh: I personally don't mind it. Much of Wisconsin ain't too bad of a place to live most of the year. It's mostly just some parts of Winter that can be a bit rough (either with lots of snow or lots of bitter cold, or both). We got hammered with snow pretty hard late November/early December, but now it's been nicer again.

Summers here "make up for it" (so long as it isn't too buggy), and our local dairy products can't be beat.

But I'm a person who can't stand the heat. Even our Summers get too hot for me at times, and that's just getting into the 80s with some rare low 90s occurrences. Idk how the "desert dwellers" do it... I wouldn't be able to live in Florida either, between the hot/humid Summers and the hurricanes, no matter how great their politics currently are...

I'm generally happy with Wisconsin. It's usually pretty "chill" for the most part, outside of some tornadoes here and there. Fairly cheap cost of living, too (outside of the big cities, of course). The road salt eats away at our vehicles pretty quickly, though...

There you go buddy nice and calm. Someone must have slipped a valium into your tapioca

I'm 89...did it yesterday. Still kicking. There was lots of the white stuff to shovel...but had to be done.

Don't mind the exercise, which I get too little of during the winter.

I'm careful. If I feel even a little tired, I rest for a bit...then resume.
Bingo! Under typical circumstances, it really isn't as difficult as people make it seem. Just "listen to your body". :)

How do you know?
This is a guy who has never chopped firewood, shoveled snow, changed a tire.
